Earlier in the month, all the eight Indian T20 League franchises released their retention list ahead of the upcoming season of the league and to no one’s surprise, Team Chennai went on to retain the services of Dwayne Bravo for yet another year. It was pretty much an expected move that Bravo will wear the yellow of Chennai for at least one more year.
He still remains as the core member of the squad and one of MS Dhoni’s confidants. The team relies on his all-round ability and if he remains injury-free this season then Chennai will for sure be title contenders once again. There’s no doubt that Dwayne Bravo is the T20 G.O.A.T of our sport. He has the most experience in the format and is the only bowler to pick up 500 wickets in T20 cricket.
